Grilled Flank Steak

Another staple during the leaky gut days, I really enjoyed this for lunch.  I would slice it over lettuce and enjoy with the creamy avocado sauce.  I never thought coating a piece of meat in cumin would taste so good!


Grilled Flank Steak


1 flank steak, approx 2 lbs
4 cloves garlic, minced
Olive Oil
Sea Salt, finely ground to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Ground cumin


On a large platter, drizzle the steak with a light coating of olive oil.  Sprinkle steak with sea salt, pepper and cumin.  Spread out minced garlic on the top.  Grill for 4-5 minutes on one side, flip, then grill another 3 minutes or to desired doneness.


This steak tastes great paired with the creamy avocado sauce and served sliced thin over a bed of bibb lettuce and sliced green onions.
