Cream of "X" Soup

You ever wondered what to do if your recipe calls for cream of "X" soup and you are gluten free?  I had a situation like that today and googled it.  As a result of the recipe I found, I am convinced that I can do it all!

Cream of "X" soup

1 C milk (whatever type you like)
3 Tbsp gluten free flour of choice
1 Tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp chicken bouillon granules

Instructions:
  1. Whisk together the flour with the milk.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and heat to a boil while whisking til fully dissolved and combined. Reduce heat and simmer a few minutes or until it thickens.
  3. Use this soup in recipes in place of one can of creamed soup.
  1. You could also add celery or mushrooms to make into other cream of soup flavors.
